Good walking and cycling right from the door, and great places to visit within a short drive. Located near to a main road, it's easy to travel in to Forest or City of Gloucester

The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill has been hand built on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Full electrics, bathroom with shower, cooking facilities including a wood fired pizza oven. Easy access parking,a donkey & a sheep to keep you company! Pets welcome with plenty of long walks.

The Granary stylish,rural, countryside cottage

The Granary is a detached, self catering stone built character countryside / rural cottage, believed to be over 300 years old. It is converted from a former dairy and grain store, and retains many original features which gives this spacious king size sleigh bedded cottage a romantic feel. It is surrounded by countryside and woodland and indeed the Gloucestershire Way runs right by the door as well as the Wysis Way and there are many Forest countryside walks available directly from the cottage.

It has fully equipped kitchen, a luxury double bedroom that sleeps 2 and a full size luxury sofa bed that can easily accommodate 2 further adults/children. Utility area with washing machine and fast fibre internet. Welcome hamper is provided on arrival for guests that are staying 3 or more nights.

We are at the foot of May Hill, a beautiful natural area for walking & exploring. A new hottub is now available and is now under cover so even rainy days can be enjoyed .

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.

The Woodman's Bothy

A rural retreat tucked away on a hillside at the edge of the forest where you can relax in front of the wood burning stove or enjoy the views of the beautiful Hope Mansell valley by the fire pit. This rustic hideaway is perfect for a romantic break or as a base for walkers and cyclists wanting to explore The Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. Ross on Wye (10 mins), Monmouth (20 mins) and the cathedral city of Hereford (45 mins).

The Forest of Dean offers lots of activities from high ropes to cycling and canoeing.
