Tucked amidst the private gardens of a former mine captains’ house, The Roundhouse, which is rumoured also to have been the village jail, has been sensitively renovated to combine the quirkiness of the old with modern comforts. Pellor Barn is in Breage, a lovely village with a post office,shop and a great pub.There’s also a playing field & park suitable for young children. It’s a perfect base to explore Cornwall, only a short drive to the beaches and the harbour village of Porthleven, with it’s many great restaurants, and from the stunning coast path, great for dog walks! The barn has an open plan kitchen and lounge with a sofa bed and a large double bedroom upstairs. There is an enclosed garden around the property.

A lovely tranquil detached wood lined studio cottage in the grounds of Trenoweth House, Gardeners Cottage offers spacious open plan living for two people with a sofa bed to sleep another adult or two small children. The cottage is set in the walled kitchen garden, as well as having shared access to grounds of the main house, the swimming lake and woodland that forms the Trenoweth Estate. it is a mix of fabulously simple and rustic with all mod cons. The Pinewood Cabin gives a camping experience with the comforts of home. The cabin has been decorated using recycled products and mismatched design giving it a comfortable feel, an ideal place to stay for those seeking a more natural setting. Our newly fitted log burner gives a traditional and cosy feel allowing comfortable winter stays. There is also the opportunity to meet our permanent residents of horses, goats, sheep, geese, ducks, chickens, pigs and our lovely mule called 'Cookie'.

Over 100 years old, our traditional Cornish cottage is bright, cosy and very comfortable. It is in a quiet location within 5 minutes drive from the coastal path and the pretty port of Porthleven, as well as some of the best beaches in the UK. It is our family holiday home, let for only a few weeks of the year, and there is ample space for 6 people. The house is very well equipped throughout and, as we spend a lot of time here with our grandchildren, it is very child-friendly.

From the entrance, Mariners looks like a charming little beach bungalow. But, step through the doors into two spacious floors of complete calm and serenity. With views from almost every room, moments from the water’s edge, and a crackling fire for those cosy nights. This is coastal Cornwall at its best!

Hirondelle Barn is situated in lovely rural surroundings with fabulous views overlooking Penrose (National Trust) and within walking distance of Helston and Loe Bar. Porthleven Harbour is only 1.5 miles away. Martlett Barn, also on Airbnb, is situated at the same location and offers similar accommodation to Hirondelle. Ideal if you have friends that would like to come and stay at the same time.
