The Cozy Cottage with its separate guest house is a unique historic woodland property in the town of Abita Springs near restaurants and shopping. Located on an acre and a half, the grounds are landscaped in native plants and towering pines and oaks. A primary feature of the house is its wraparound screen porch where guests can gather for meals and to listen to the birds. Built of barge board, the cottage has been renovated with modern amenities but maintains its historic character and charm.

This is a place to slow down, enjoy quiet mornings by the water, and end the day under the stars, while leaving feeling recharged from your stay at our little piece of paradise.

The Little Lodge is located on a 7 acre gated estate in a wooded bedroom community south of the Village of Folsom. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l

Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.
