Just an hour away from Des Moines, this is pure midwest heaven! This vintage fish cabin has it all….. full kitchen and bath, antenna TV, electric fireplace etc. Stocked pond with fishing gear included (no live bait) 2 paddleboards, rafts, and Baby Bass boat with motor! Beautiful serene place to escape to relax or have fun! Firepit and barbecue grill make for perfect evenings to relax and unwind! Can sleep up to 4. Note: the lofts beds are true lofts, ceiling height above mattresses is 4 ft.

Relax at this peaceful country hideaway after a day of touring the sites. Enjoy quiet outdoors while being less than a mile from the downtown district. Enjoy time on the patio with a fire and beverage with wildlife in the backyard. Perfect place to wind down and enjoy nature. As Schipp would say.... "It's the perfect hideaway!" This space is the entire basement, you may or may not share yard space with renters upstairs if rented. AC is controlled upstairs, but reach out if warm or cool.

The Prayer Cabin

The Prayer Cabin is located at Lake Red Rock outside of Pella, IA. The cabin Is an Earthen/Berm home located on a 1 acre lot in a quiet & clean neighborhood. The lot boasts a wooded valley with many birds and squirrels to watch. The Prayer Cabin was recently remodeled with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Our first guests asked us if Chip and Joanna were the creators of the design. 💚 Navy Blue cabinets, Tons of white shiplap and open shelving. Peaceful. A place of respite and relaxation.

The Strawtown Cottage - in downtown Pella

Completely remodeled 1865 original Strawtown Store of Pella conveniently located in one of the best small towns in Iowa. Three blocks to downtown Pella, 1 1/2 blocks to West Market Park, 2 blocks to Central football, baseball and softball complex. Enjoy the cottage charm with two private bed and bath suites, a family room with dining, full kitchen, front and side porch, laundry and large back yard. Off-street parking in the back. Luxury sheets on queen beds await after your adventures.

Get ready to enjoy good 'ole country livin' when you choose to stay at our little cottage, The Lost Gem. Its a quiet retreat, recently renovated on a hard surfaced road with all the privacy you could desire. The yard is large enough to sit outside, giving children area to run .While enjoying the spacious outdoors, you'll be able to gaze at the beautiful sunsets each day. The entrance is very accessible and well lit to welcome you. Our guests enjoy a single level home with no steps.

Little House on the Driveway

This Little House on the Driveway is just the right size for your stay, with a kitchen, full bathroom, and living space. We have 2 full size beds. It is close to the square where there are several restaurants and shops. There are many things to do in the area. The unit is tucked away in the back yard where it's quiet, please note parking is on the street. Summer 2026 we are improving the outside and things maybe in progress. Please excuse our mess, and photos may not be accurate.

Pet-friendly, non-smoking, and all one level for easy access. Close to great hunting, fishing, and wildlife areas, as well as the Knoxville Raceway.
