St. Frediano's Nest in Lucca

St. Frediano's Nest has this name because, once you're up the stairs to the 3rd floor of this ancient building, you'll be welcomed by a lovely home, with an intimate atmosphere and soft colors. In the summer evenings you can hear music and the voices of the people at the pizzeria. There is a small living with a dining table, a couch and a tv set. The kitchenette is well equipped but narrow. We have a large fridge and a good dishwasher. The main bedroom is a standard size for Italy, the 2nd bedroom is definitely small. Going up the stairs you reach our roof patio: this space will give you so much relaxation and an unforgettable view of old Lucca. On the terrace there is a nice couch, a large table, chairs and lights, so that you can make the best of your time here with your family or friends. There is NO washing machine.

There is just one floor, the rooms are very bright , large and welcoming, with the romantic atmosphere of an authentic Tuscan period residence. The decor is designed with care. The house also offers a spacious terrace where you can wind down and enjoy pleasant outdoor meals.

A cozy retreat to slow down and enjoy nature, silence, and authentic atmospheres. Private outdoor area for slow breakfasts and aperitifs under the olive trees. The large garden, shared with us, is available for lunches, barbecues, and relaxing in the sun. Close to the Apuan Alps hiking trails and the beaches of Versilia.

There is a place a few steps away from the famous Versilia (Tuscany) called Borgo Metato Toscana. Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo di Metato is surrounded by olive trees, lots of green spaces and there are some donkeys for the joy of children. La Cipressa is part of this place.

The farmhouse has comfortable outdoor spaces where you can eat and relax in front of a breathtaking view. The whole house is equipped with air conditioning and each bedroom has a private bathroom. We charge an additional cost of 30€ per day for utilities to be paid at check in.
