Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to rent to explore the river.

Please note this is not a hotel but a unique glamping experience. This authentic artifact is more than 100 years old and was a working caboose for decades, imperfections should be expected.

There are multiple gazebos, look-outs and the higher up you go, the quieter it is.

Since this wagon has been sitting on a shoofly spur for a while the signalman connected it to fiber optic internet, getting speeds of 350 Mbps or more.
