Bathroom with a walk-in shower, beside the 2 bedrooms, one with a 5ft bed and the other has a 4ft6 double. The cottage is priced for 2 people 1 bedroom if the additional bedroom is required there is an additional charge. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful dining area to enjoy a home cooked meal. The cottage is set is a rural area close to Lough Sheelin.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

The Milking Parlour

The refurbished 200 year old stone milking parlour has become a unique self contained studio, an oasis of birdsong, perfect for a peaceful break, a base for your Irish travels, or seeing the local ancient sacred sites and the beautiful midlands.
