At the edge of a wildflower meadow with mountain views, this beautifully furnished glamping tent has two queen beds, front porch and private rear deck. Each of our four tents has a kitchenette in the Lodge. Sweet new Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights) and our new all natural wood hot tub (booked for private experience for $25) . 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Please note we do not allow guests in the tent to check in after dark; giving a good orientation to the property in the dark is very difficult. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule! We're keeping this site open week-to-week weather dependent. There is no wood stove in this tent. Please see our other listing, the Hermit Thrush for a wood stove in the tent. The tent will be furnished with a small propane heater which is adequate when ambient temperatures are not too low.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in a large canvas bell tent with a real, full size bed. Tucked into the woods, just a short distance from Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Trail. The shared modern bath house is a short walk from the site with running potable water and a shower. The property is off grid (no electricity) which means excellent star gazing! Linens are provided. Located on the edge of a pine grove, this site has a beautiful view of the Catskill Mountains. Plenty of space to have family and friends spread out, pop up tents and join on the adventure. Stay at and explore what was the site of The Catskill Game Farm, America's first and largest privately owned zoo. The tent is tucked into 203 mountainside acres with 100+ buildings and old animal shelters, 3.5 miles of paved pathways and remnants of the abandoned zoo still in tact.

Milkweed Camp - Glamping in a Blueberry Field

Our off-grid canvas tent is situated at the edge of a meadow, surrounded by blueberry bushes. It's just 4.5 miles to Main St in Livingston Manor, and 35 minutes to Bethel Woods. We provide a full-size bed (w/ heated mattress pad), fire pit, firewood, propane heater, and solar power. You have access to a private outhouse with composting toilet & outdoor shower on-site, and a conventional shared bathroom if you preferred. We are an LGBTQ+ inclusive space.

Camp SkyTent: “Fern Gully” picturesque camping

Fern Gully SkyTent is simply magical - surrounded by ferns, flowers and trees. We love this spot. This tent is the most secluded. It has an amazing fire pit and two chairs. It is the best tent for families with kids. The tent also has a removable rain fly so you can literally sleep under the stars. It's ideal for a fun "date night" or a secluded and inexpensive glamping-like experience. Porta potty and drinking water on site.

In the Oaks

"In the Oaks" is our first glamping site at the Green Heron, nestled among the oak trees. No set up is required, everything is ready for you! We have a queen size bed made up with cozy linens, lanterns, a deck with comfortable chairs, a picnic table and fire pit. There is no electricity on site. A composting outhouse is a short walk down a dirt road of around 200 yards.
