*** Please be advised- if booking for October 3-5 you will be located at the Mammoth Run's midway point aide station! Located at High Hope Ranch, Mata Z'amo is connected to 900 acres of protected land. Meaning "Up High" in Swahili, Mata Z'amo cabin is perched on a cliffside lending our guests epic views of the hill country. Enjoy dark skies, wolves howling at dusk from Fossil Rim, and over 20 miles of hiking trails. Sleeps up to 8- 2 bunkbeds & upstairs master loft with a queen & trundle bed.

The Shack

The SHACK is an eclectic space that evolved from our love of building with repurposed materials. Includes old cedar fence pickets, floor tile is made from an old tree. As The SHACK took shape we decided that the theme is sort of anything redneck construction including duck tape, even has a chain link clothes line. With all the amenities of course!! We hand built the custom waterfall sink faucet. Bed is held up w/log chains, tile shower that resembles a quilt w/ exposed copper plumbing.

Welcome to the Airstream on Arison Farm. While you enjoy your farm stay, watch the chickens and the goats forage on our eight-acre property just five minutes from Granbury’s historic square, and two miles from the closest boat ramp. Soak in the water trough right off the porch, or lounge by the fire pit. Use our farm as home base while you explore the local wineries, breweries, restaurants, antique and junk shops and so much more that Granbury has to offer. We even offer WiFi and a smart TV.

The Country Cottage is a newly constructed space attached to our barn- a charming antique farmhouse theme inspired by my love of vintage. It has its own private entrance, fenced yard, garden, pasture views, plus gated and secure parking. Our guests also have access to the farm animals -who adore animal crackers & pets. The Country Cottage is ideal for a party of one, a couple or a small family . The country setting and quiet location make it a prime spot to escape for a weekend or longer.

Grab a cruiser bike and ride to downtown Weatherford, which is less than a mile away. Or take a stroll through the historic district, also within walking distance.
