The Cabin at Painted Canyon Homestead This serene cabin is situated at the mouth of a canyon overlooking Morongo Valley, where the high desert meets the San Gorgonio & San Jacinto Mountains. As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, visit our four cheeky mini donkeys, & enjoy the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two w/ lots of space to explore!

Our pools and backyard are clothing-optional so you can enjoy them without a bathing suit along with us. Our Guest house features the amazing stained glass work of Gunter Zedler. Enjoy the amazing sunrise, sunsets and views over Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree from this hill top retreat. Please note we do allow dogs with an extra $30 fee.

The entire back yard is exclusively yours to enjoy, an enchanting and magical space. It is also one of the earliest homes built in the historic Warm Sands area of Palm Springs, only a two-minute drive to downtown. Your own oasis awaits. The Casita has a private entrance looking out over the extra large salt water swimming pool with mountain views. Air conditioned unit with full bath, queen bed, small fridge, microwave and Keurig. We provide a wide variety of pool toys to help you relax by the pool in this private retreat. Grab your book, lay on a chaise lounge chair and enjoy the peaceful patio. Please note the pool is not heated, and we do not have a hot tub.
