Children especially like the bunk room, designed to look like a ships cabin. The gite is part of an estate where the owners have a second gite and bnb accommodation. However, Maison de la Chasse is set apart, in its own private garden overlooking the owners horse's fields It is a tranquil setting but still only a short drive to shops and restaurants

Situé en bordure de village, avec un accès direct aux sentiers de campagne et des forêts environnantes, c’est un refuge idéal pour les amoureux de nature. Relax and unwind in this calm, stylish Gîte set within 2.5 acres of peaceful countryside. Recently refurbished to a high standard, the Gite offers four comfortable bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, while the third has a French double. The fourth has two single beds. The Gite comfortably accommodates 6 guests. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to enjoy a gentle stroll or simply relax in the large, well-kept garden.

On the square opposite the church, with countryside views across the pretty river Clain and its medieval bridge, the house combines a sense of history with modern convenience and plenty of space. Ideal for families or groups of friends with a games room and a pool, there is plenty to do, and it is also a great base to explore the Vienne and Charente. Please note there is a minimum 3 night stay.

Plenty to do in Confolens: you can swim, rail-bike, canoe, attend our music festival or discover Charente limousine. If you like old houses, you'll enjoy our home with its spacious rooms. It is a family house, fitted for young children. The garden is fenced and shady.
