River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). Please note the supplement for the extra guests/sofa bed. The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. We have excellent restaurants nearby - The Clachan in Drymen, is the oldest licensed pub in Scotland (1734) The Oak tree at Balmaha or The Old Mill in Killearn, all serve excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. We are delighted to welcome dogs as long as they bring their own beds, are not allowed on furniture and not left unattended. Worth noting that we have chickens roaming freely and the cottage is surrounded by fields which have livestock. We charge £10 per dog, per night and this can be paid at check in. River access (youngsters take care!) and free fishing from river bank. Access to open farmland along river. Wireless broadband connection. Appletree Cottage (sleep 8) Croftamie, Loch Lomond

Appletree Cottage is a cosy, bright, newly built cottage on a quiet back road in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has four en-suite bedrooms and biomass heating throughout. The spacious open-plan living area has underfloor heating, and large picture windows offer stunning views south, across open countryside. Situated a small apple farm, Appletree is perfectly located for walking, golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, riding, wildlife spotting and the local village cafe.

Lochside Cottage

Lochside Cottage has stunning loch views, is pet-friendly, has new satellite internet in Jan 2024 and a wood-burning stove. It sleeps 8 (+2 ) with all bed linen/towels provided. It is a beautiful rural location, surrounded by forests and mountains, with various shops and attractions available within a hour's drive. Lochside Cottage is near many different lochs, woodland walks, and mountains, which all have their own character. It is very quiet and peaceful, and is an ideal waterside retreat.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Secluded, historic cottage next to Monzie Castle

Built in 1874 for the head gardener of Monzie Castle and located at the end of the castle garden. This characterful 2 bedroom cottage (listed in The Times top 50 cottages) is furnished to a high standard. The scenery is breathtaking and a retreat from busy everyday life, with nature and wildlife in abundance. 90 minutes from Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews, 5 minutes from the Highlands and close to Scone Palace, Drummond Castle Gardens. Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Altquhur Cottage

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.

Detached Cottage situated in quiet picturesque Clydeside village, boasting private decking with Hot Tub. Ivy Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for unwinding and enjoying beautiful countryside. Loch Lomond is a 15 minute drive and easily accessed by train (train station is 2 minutes from our Cottage) with direct routes to Glasgow (20 minutes). Located 10 minutes taxi drive from Glasgow airport. Property is for adults over 18 only. Hot-tub not suitable for children.

Stylishly converted Bothy by River Earn

The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.

The Wash House: a Cosy Romantic Countryside Escape

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
