It is close walking distance to the downtown area. Big Pine is a small town, so morning and evening walks are a must. The base of the Eastern Sierra’s has many great places to explore. Small pets (30lbs) are allowed for a fee of $30 and is payable at check in. Pets are not to be left alone. WiFi is available, but can be spotty at times.

It is located 0.8 miles from the Village and only half a mile from Canyon Lodge; Tamarack Lodge is a short drive up Lake Mary Road. Access by car to several lakes for fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Use the pellet stove to keep you warm during the cold days/nights.
