Decking areas, outside the living space and bedroom give wonderful views of the countryside. You have sole use of the whole field with al fresco dining area,barbecue, swings,table tennis and its own hens!

Recently renovated the accommodation provides a delightful space in the heart of Devon from which you can explore the wonderful surrounding areas.

The property is part of a Victorian School House recently converted to a luxury 2 double bedroom apartment in the heart of Ashburton. Sleeps max 4 people. One Super king converts to a twin room on request. It has a loft style feel with its vaulted ceilings. 2 ensuite high spec bathrooms with Heat Recovery Ventilation. Ideal base for short winter/summer weekend breaks or holidays with beach 20 min away or Dartmoor 5 mins. Pubs, eateries, shops and wine bar a hopping distance away.

Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

"Swallows" is a self-contained annexe and part of a barn conversion in the peaceful, rural hamlet of Harbourneford. There are lots of lovely walks on your doorstep and the National Cycle Network also passes through the hamlet. We are 1.5 miles from the village of South Brent which has all the amenities that you might need during your stay and plus some! "Swallows" is ideal for singles or couples seeking a holiday in South Devon as well as those looking for a longer holiday stay.

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling. She is brand new for 2023. She sits in her own secluded position on a working Devon farm. The views over the glorious Devon hills are truly captivating. There is nothing to distract you from gazing at the fields, hills, woodland and distant church spire (well, maybe some sheep and lambs frolicking).
