Because this property is located at the end of Lake Como and at the end of a private road it offers seclusion and intimacy while being only 3 miles from downtown Lake Geneva. The lake is great fishing for largemouth bass as well as northern pike, a 16' 3" foot aluminum fishing boat with a 10 hp motor is available at no extra charge as well as a canoe and 2 kayaks . The pier goes in May 1st and comes out sometime after October 15 otherwise the boats without a motor can be launched from shore.

Along with the house you get access to the HOA covered private beaches and playgrounds nearby. There is also a bar and grill down the street with live music. Overlooking the lake nestled right behind the main lodge, this cabin has 3 bedrooms, a half bathroom, a seating a room, a basic kitchenette & access to camp showers downstairs. One large bedroom has a queen bed, one room with bunkbeds, & one with a full bed to accommodate a max of 6 guests. (But the bunkbeds are best for kid-sized humans). Like all of Wandawega, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. There is heat & a couple AC window units.

We are lovers of "Lake Life" and want to share our experiences of Turtle Lake with others who love tranquility and time to reflect, but also want to hike at the Kettle Morraine State Forest, enjoy camp fires, tour local historic towns such as Lake Geneva and other sites, fish (including the best ice fishing in the area!), canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, reading, and simply enjoying conversations with friends and family. We recently remodeled the kitchen, bathroom and 2 lower bedrooms.
