Use the remote control to set the fan, lighting, and Smart TV in the airy bedroom, which also offers a cozy seating area and walk-in closet that features a frig/freezer for cold drinks, ice and any personal food items.. Outside, sit back in the wide front porch, the slate patio with fountain, and the airy screen porch. We offer a large airy, upstairs room with en-suite bathroom and a walk in closet. There is a flat screen television that can be viewed either from the bed or from the cozy seating group, WiFi and a remote control ceiling fan. Enjoy the comfy, queen sized bed with I-Comfort mattress and designer bedding Downstairs you are welcome to use the pleasantly furnished living room until 9.00PM. It comes equipped with a large smart TV and a cozy fireplace for the occasional chilly night. Outside, feel free to enjoy the sunny front porch with a classic swing and seating that makes it a favorite spot for our light breakfast or a cup of coffee. At the side of the house is a delightful, slate patio surrounded by shrubs, flowers and trees. And, of course at the back of the house is our wonderful screen porch; light, bright and airy. The screen porch is a total delight with light sheers blowing in the breeze and twin overhead fans We want you to feel at home when you stay with us at Dogwood House. We do not allow use of the kitchen but make available whats needed for coffee, tea or soft drinks. In the living room; which is available to guests until 9.00PM, there is a large smart TV and a cheery fireplace for the occasional chilly nights. Outside we have the front porch with it's swing, the slate patio at the side of the house and a large breezy screen porch in the back all of which you are welcome to use. We are happy to give advice, make suggestions or help our guests any way that we can. Summerville is the home of Southern Iced Tea, which it celebrates with an annual Sweet Tea Festival. Azaleas bloom all over, and the Flowertown Festival attracts over 200,000 visitors each April. There's also a Third Thursday Festival every month. We have adequate off street parking and there is a bus station for the local Tri-County Link transport service is about half a mile down the road. The buses run to Charleston and connect with others that will take you to the beach or wherever else you might wish to go. Their website, ridetricountylink, should be able to provide details of schedules and services.
