The Hideaway is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Our old dog Hopi will greet you! Pets are limited to 3, with a $20.00 fee. Our cozy cottage is nestled on the tree-lined streets of the Huning Castle Community. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Albuquerque, it is midway between Old Town and Downtown. This historic neighborhood was named for the opulent mansion built by German immigrant and Albuquerque pioneer Franz Huning in the 1880’s. While the castle no longer stands, the neighborhood maintains its historic charm. We hope you enjoy this cozy cottage and lovely neighborhood as much as we do.

Additionally, we offer everything you'll need to enjoy a relaxing home away from home with a walking meditation garden, two patios for dinning, an outdoor wooden swing to relax with a morning cup of tea, a fire pit for s’mores to enjoy the gorgeous Albuquerque nights. We are near the river, trails, parks, and markets.

Our guest house is behind the main house in a lovely and historic downtown Albuquerque neighborhood. There are many seating areas to enjoy in the spacious backyard. We are located within walking distance of Slow Burn Coffee, Rumor Pizza, Golden Crown Panaderia, Marble Brewery, Tiguex Park, Old Town, Explora, the local famer’s market, Lowes Grocery Store, and Civic Plaza. *The walls of the casita are quite thick, which prevents good wi-fi service inside.

This unique place has a style all its own. Modern, BoHo, and newly renovated guest casita centrally located in downtown/Old Town area. Studio with sleeping loft and kitchenette. Walkable downtown neighborhood close to Old Town Plaza, Nobhill, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and parks. Private courtyard and access to a lush backyard. Easily accessible to freeway. ONE SMALL DOG welcome without host approval, anything else needs host approval.
