This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Relax in this private 1-bedroom downstairs mother-in-law apartment nestled at the base of Mount Baldy, in walking distance of downtown Eagle River, and a 15 minute drive from Downtown Anchorage. We have everything you need for your trip to Alaska. Be forewarned, you will most likely meet our Doodle (Nala) during your stay, it is a kid friendly household, and an old house with baseboard radiant heat. The house stays nice and warm, but during the winter the whole place crackles.

Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.
