There are water views, ocean breezes, it is literally steps from the state park beach and pond, and you can listen to the waves while sitting on the expansive front porch or at night as you fall asleep. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are fully stocked with everything you need, and if you feel like going into town, it is a quick 12-minute drive up the road to Machias. You might not want to leave once you get here, though!

Acadia is a little over 2 hours away. Quoddy Head State Park and Campobello Island (Canada - bring your passport), is within 30 minutes. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis.
