The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. This NM true adobe style casita is completely remodeled but still has it's original adobe charm. You will find a great cooking space with a full size oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave & coffee bar in the kitchen. The living room has a queen couch bed & large smart TV. The bathroom has a combo shower/tub & washer/dryer. Plenty of space for parking. Minutes from Walmart & freeway access, 30mins to Albuquerque. Belen has great locally owned restaurants w/authentic New Mexican food and shopping.

Whole front of house (private) separated by locked door with bedroom, living room, and private bath. Large workspace with extra monitor, desk chair, keyboard. High speed internet and air conditioning. Less than a mile walk from Route 66, near to UNM and the hospital. Albuquerque Airport is 1.8 miles away. Country Getaway South of Albuquerque

Quiet country retreat 35 minutes south of Albuquerque. This guest suite offers ample parking, a private patio and private entrance from the patio. Bedroom, kitchenette and large en suite bathroom are all included in the space. Kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, electric burner and basic cookware and dining ware. Cooking Oil, salt/pepper tea and coffee are provided. Bedroom has a queen-size bed and cozy fireplace. The owner lives on premises and is available to help with any needs.

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

Relax, unwind, and unplug with a beautiful view of the Manzano Mountains in our cozy cabin. Mountainair was known as the “Pinto Bean Capital of the World” in its heyday and our land was used for dry-land bean farming. Remnants of homesteaders can still be found on the property. We now enjoy this beautiful location to raise Scottish Highland Cattle and can’t wait to share it with you! Our cabin will fit 2 adults plus a child comfortably with a queen bed and twin sofa bed.
