Nestled in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara, Desert Camp Erg Chegaga offers an authentic desert experience surrounded by the golden dunes of Erg Chegaga. Our camp welcomes you to enjoy the silence, beauty, and magic of the desert, far from the noise of the cities. Each tent is comfortably furnished in traditional style, blending simplicity with charm. As the sun sets, you can relax around the campfire, listen to the rhythms of local drums, and gaze at the stars that light up the vast desert sky.

Sleep in a haima in the Sahara-Chegaga Berber Camp

The Camp is located 55 km west of M'hamid, right under the foot of Chigaga - one of the two highest Moroccan dunes. The camp consists of 6 haimas-bed rooms, a bigger haima that we use like living room and as a dining room, an area with a thatched roof, with comfortable mattresses to enjoy the outdoors next to which we light a bonfire at night, where we meet with our guests to chat, have a tea or enjoy Berber music. We have also a kitchen and a common bathroom with toilets and showers.
