Welcome to the Nuthatch Cabin

Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

Located just outside of Fairbanks, on a maintained road with year-round access, this cabin has all the luxuries and a real Alaskan feel. This beautifully designed tree house is perfect for your romantic getaway. Designed by "Treehouse Masters" Pete Nelson, this build is packed with tons of architectural whimsy.The treehouse has a queen sized bed upstairs that is accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a kitchenette with a keurig coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven/air fryer, mini fridge and hot plate. There is no running water in the treehouse so there a gray water system for the sink. The treehouse is located in Fairbanks.

Please read carefully: Offering an entire one room guest house, the space is completely separate/detached from the main home, providing complete solitude. This is meant to be an affordable alternative to other options. There is an incinerator toilet and sink, however, there is NO running water of any kind provided for this space, it is a great location to sleep, rest or relax and watch some TV, read, do some work, or just enjoy the quiet. High Speed Wifi provided. No breakfast.
