With a nod to the ease, optimism and aesthetic of mid-century California, Casa Paloma is a 3 bedroom vacation bungalow in Braunton, North Devon. Beneath a mono-pitch roof that evokes Palm Springs style, a vaulted ceiling in the open-plan kitchen, diner and den creates an airy spot for living and lounging. We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

You will be staying in a beautiful green oak outbuilding with 4 dormer windows and a glass gable end offering delightful Devon countryside views. Access is via a private door into the front of the building. From the upstairs living area, a door leads to your own private garden. There is a decking area with a table and chairs for outside dining and a barbecue in season. There is a wooden gazebo at the top of the garden also with a table and seating for outside dining with more lovely views.

Rural retreat above the river Taw and Tarka Trail

The apartment at Panorama is quiet, spacious and light overlooking the river from the ridge. Only 10 minute's drive from Barnstaple and 20 from Ilfracombe, with beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough, too. The apartment is a mile from the Tarka Trail (the most popular cycle route in the country). It is set in lovely grounds with a private balcony and a comfortable living area (sofa, armchairs and a large TV). The kitchen and dining area has an oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher.

Woolstone Cottage is situated in the hillside village of Ashford with views over The River Taw. It is a 10 minute walk from The Tarka Trail with traffic free cycling, walking and running alongside the river. The trail connects to the market town of Barnstaple and the village of Braunton with its surf shops and cafes. The Heanton Court Inn is within walking distance along the trail. Saunton Sands beach is only a 15 minute drive with its three and half miles of golden sands and surf.

Villa Wishing Well

Villa Wishing Well is located in Barnstaple North Devon, with a short walk to the town center and close to supermarkets and shops. The house is situated beside the North Devon Tarka Trail and has outstanding views of The River Taw and just 5 miles from lovely Sandy Beaches. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Our Villa is not a party venue!
