Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately

Built by eccentric artists in the 80's this quaint little mudbrick sits in the heart of the Yarra Valley surrounded by wineries, stunning gardens and views. Recently renovated for comfort with concrete flooring, new A/C, hot water system, renovated bathroom and numerous outdoor spaces. The kitchenette includes a coffee machine, kettle & facilities, air fryer, toaster, egg steamer, utensils, bar fridge & microwave. The perfect romantic getaway surrounded by nature.

What was once our tiny family home now sits on a little farm for you to enjoy, looking over the orchard and forest. Your own driveway will lead you out to the little house, past our private residence and orchard. You can rest on the deck, lay on the grass or soak in the tub. With no WiFi or TV you can disconnect for a while and let the surrounds recharge you. Wander with the chickens in the orchard, take yourself out into the forest or explore the Yarra Valley.
