Say hello to our cows & donkey, roast marshmallows over a fire, cast a line in one of our ponds, or take a peaceful walk down to the big lake. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway or rest from your visit to Waco & the Silo District (25 min), Baylor University (20 min), or Waco Surf (10 min).

The cottage has a simple but elegant country home feel. There is a large swing nestled in the large pecan trees that is fun for thrill seekers.

Welcome to The Cabin at Travers Cattle Company! Come enjoy a real-life ranch experience. This quaint and quiet retreat is free of Wi-Fi distractions so you can truly relax and enjoy nature. Need more room? Reserve "The Barndominium" as well for a shared stay with friends or family. Both are located on the hub of our working ranch alongside our workshop. Enjoy peaceful scenery, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, or take time to explore the ranch around you.

Restaurants, coffee shops and dining are all within a short, 15 min drive to Waco. The cottage is cleaned and sanitized and eager to welcome you.

Feel refreshed and ready to explore Waco after waking in this gem! The queen bed has a 3” memory foam topper. Nightstands hold your items. A/C and heat provided by mini splits . There is a NEW restroom that has been added. There is a rain shower, a toilet, and sink. Parking is free and right outside your door. While here feel free to gather flowers from the meadow, or stroll under the majestic oaks. The porch has a café table and chairs.

Decorated by a licensed architect, this is a cozy two bed two bath farmhouse on 16+ acres. Enjoy the calm and seclusion of country life while being only twenty minutes away from conveniences of Waco.
