Walking distance to Art gallery’s, coffee shops,Blue Hill Library, Blue Hill book store, fine dining and the town park! Also, Kneisel Hall is just a short ride where you can hear beautiful Chamber music! Take a day hike or a quick hike through Parker point trail to the local grocery store, go kayaking on Blue Hill bay or take a drive to Acadia National Park for the day. This is the perfect spot to experience Down East Maine, the way life should be! Nestled in the quiet side of the Mount Desert Island woods just a short walk to Bass Harbor and the closest lodging to Bass Harbor Head Light and the Ship Harbor and Wonderland hiking trails in beautiful Acadia National Park are the Lighthouse Cabins. These cabins feature almost 400 square feet of living space with kitchenette, dining area and private bathroom. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.

We have an open, airy studio apartment with a queen bed, twin bed, and twin trundle under the twin, private bathroom and full kitchen, located approximately 25 miles, or about a 40 minute drive, from Acadia National Park. Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.
