About us The Building has just finished a 2.5 year renovation, it has been brought to life as an Art Deco Inspired Motel. We have reconfigured the old 22 room Motel into 7 Boutique Apartments, the rooms have been fully renovated in tastefully art Décor style reflecting the period & history of The Star. All rooms have Modern facilities with Tea & Coffee Making Facilities. Apartments 1 & 7 have a full self-contained Kitchens Each Room consists of separate Bedroom with Queen Bed/ Separate Bathroom/ Separate Lounge Dinning. They range in sizes & Colour Palate, from 48¿ to 98.5¿ with most Apartments in 60¿+, so very spacious, perfect to unwind & relax.

Dungog is the gateway to the beautiful Barrington Tops. The Bank Hotel is a traditional country pub with delicious counter meals and icy cold beer. We have entertainment most Friday nights. Our budget twin room has two single beds, TV and sink with hot and cold taps. The bathroom facilities and tea and coffee are shared. You can also help yourself to a complimentary continental breakfast.

The Mansion - Loft Room 4

Loft room in The Mansion, A beautiful old building full of charm. The room is for the more adventurous group or person as it is up a stare-case and through a trap door, the beds are built into the ceiling so not recommended for anyone with a bad back or poor manoeuvrability as there is a slight climb up.
