Spring Meadow Room

The Spring Meadow Room is the most economical room at TimberCreek Bed & Breakfast. It is a cheery yellow room. It has a tall tray ceiling, chandelier, queen bed, 2 oversized comfy chairs, and a private bathroom. TimberCreek is an upscale BnB on 25 landscaped acres. The Inn is situated at the end of a long winding lane in a secluded meadow surrounded by trees and a stream. It's imminently peaceful. Birds are singing. Rabbits, squirrels, and deer are common and the stars are incredible.

Historic Craftsman Style Boutique House

This beautiful craftsman style house is over 110 years old and still has all the original woodwork making it cozy and inviting. It is also tastefully decorated with art and antique furniture giving it a very unique and boutique feel. Because the house is perfectly situated between downtown and Washington Park it is ideal for those doing business in the city center or tourists visiting the historic sites. My goal is to offer a comfortable , unique, and satisfying experience for all my guests.

Heritage- Celebrating Family History

Our home is from the Victorian era on the southern most point of Lake Springfield. It was completely lost to fire in 1991, and rebuilt. It is spacious, 5000 square feet on two sprawling acres with park like arbors and trees. Heritage is a private room that speaks warmth and comfort for the weary traveler; king sized bed with feather-tick mattress, an armoire closet for hanging clothes, desk & chair. The Airbnb cleaning and sanitizing protocol is used to keep the area guest ready.

McGrady Inn-Historic Old Church Building

Conveniently in the historic district of Charleston, IL. A pleasant walk from the campus of Eastern Illinois University and two blocks from downtown area, the McGrady Inn honors its heritage, a United Brethren church constructed in 1919. From the original maple floors to the nine-panel stained glass window at the center of the 23-foot sanctuary ceilings, guests are surrounded by the results of a three-year restoration matching the original craftsmanship.

Historic Poehlman House - 1st floor bedroom

The Historic Poehlman house was finished in 1898 by Conrad Poehlman. Hand crafted into the hillside directly across from Abraham Lincoln’s tomb and rolling hills of the beautiful Oakridge Cemetery. Mr. Poehlman raised 7 boys and 3 girls in the 3 story brick home. Standing tall and modest at the very end of the street of a very quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious but cozy enough to make you feel right at home.
