Sandpiper Cottage is located in Anchorage Cottages & Retreat Center on the sandy shores of the Great Lake Huron. It is 1 of 6 cottages on the property. This rustic cabin is fully furnished and has shared beachfront with a private deck facing the water. Welcome to the Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods. Come relax on our homestead in Northeast Michigan. This newly constructed chalet style home sits on 10 acres. Relax and view the cattle grazing in the fields or the whitetail deer foraging around. To the South is our homestead style farm which is home to our Scottish Highland cattle, mini horse, pigs, chickens, cats, and bunnies. To the North is the Huron National Forest. The city of East Tawas is only a short 4.5 mile drive as well.

Welcome to our charming 1 bedroom cabin nestled in the tranquil woods right on Van Etten Lake! Our cozy cabin is the perfect retreat for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful getaway! Summer guests will enjoy private access to Van Etten Lake and water for swimming, fishing, or kayaking. In the winter this well insulated, tiny home has radiant heat, as well as the ambience of a woodstove.  Cross country skiing trails are nearby, as well as restaurants and shops!

Lighthouse Inn Cottage

Discover the charm of Lighthouse Inn, nestled in Au Sable Charter Township. This delightful two-bedroom cabin offers a serene lakeside escape with a queen bed in both the cozy loft and downstairs bedroom, plus a full-sized futon in the living room. The kitchen and open living area are perfect for relaxing, all while soaking in the stunning lake views. One set of towels will be provided with your stay. We do not have laundry on site, please plan accordingly.

This adorable two bedroom, one bath, cabin like guesthouse sits behind the owners house with an attached private one car garage. This house features two private entrances! The house is about 1,000 sq feet, and includes a fenced in backdoor so your pets can enjoy the outdoors in a secured space. There is a deck with a small grill to enjoy your outdoor festivities. Back yard also has a fire pit with wood for those crisp nights of relaxation by a fire.

Cozy and comfortable cottage. This cottage offers everything you need! The kitchen is well stocked with plates, silverware and cookware. The 2 bedrooms have queen beds with high quality bedding and connect with a Jack & Jill bathroom. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Public boat ramp in town right on 23 and plenty of room to park your boat in the driveway. We provide bed linens, bath linens and first cup of coffee

Country Air - Unplug and Getaway

Please be courteous as this is a special piece of family property. Our place is close to outdoor activities, nature, 15-minute drive to local beaches. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors, location, relaxation & quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Please take note of directions to home, sometimes GPS is incorrect. Also, special reminder of drinking water if wanted, as house has well water.
