'Oppitippi' is surrounded by spectacular natural beauty that can by enjoyed without leaving the house. With the Kleinmond mountains as a backdrop and the rolling ocean literally on your doorstep, whales and dolphins can be spotted right from the deck. Klienmond is a gateway to the Garden Route and to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Western Cape, as well as being a hikers paradise and a golfers dream. The house has been recently renovated to ensure your stay is a restful experience.

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.

Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Our home is perfectly situated in the heart of the Town, only 200m from the shops and bars and 300m from the main beach walkway. It is nestled on a small elevation with tremendous views of the coast and mountains. The house is recently renovated and we are now solar powered with mains back-up. There is a large braai room with seating for 10 people - where it all happens!
