There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? We are 10 min outside of Wasilla on the west side of Wasilla, and a good jumping off place to your your trip to interior Alaska. We are minutes from a grocery store, laundry mat, gas stations, UPS store, and bank.

The Johnson House Cabin

A comfortable, cozy, private and secluded cabin for up to two guests. Our cabin is overlooking the Knik River Valley and Knik Glacier and offers spectacular views. The cabin is located a moderate 250 step hike from our parking area including two outdoor sets of steps so, self check-in is not an option.

Hatcher House - Hatcher Pass / Downtown Palmer

Hi Everyone, I have been working on and off in Palmer Ak for many years and completely fell in love with the area. I loved it so much, in April 2017, I purchased this great little cabin at the base of Hatcher Pass so that I can visit as often as I like and share with you all when I'm not here.
