The BnB is located on the 2nd floor of our oceanfront home. This upstairs, fully furnished apartment has a private entrance that requires you to walk up 14 steps. The bedroom, living room and kitchen all have ocean views that look out over historic Mill Bay. There is a private deck where you can sit and regularly observe Bald Eagles, Sea Otters, and more. We are just 3 miles from the city center, 1 mile from Safeway and Wal-Mart, and 1/2 mile from beautiful Fort Abercrombie State Historic Park.

This 3 story house offers privacy while being centrally located--an easy walk to the bridge, Near Island's trails, pool, library, boat harbors, museums, downtown restaurants, shops, brewery & cidery, & coffee shops. This home away from home is only available in the summer, with lots of books and games for rainy days.

Upstairs, a spacious lofted sitting room with vaulted ceilings has the best views - Relax with a coffee in the morning and if you're lucky you may spot a pod of orcas swimming by. Or spend time out on the deck on a sunny summer day grilling a home cooked meal. Please keep in mind you must be prepared to walk up and down stairs to access the home.

The Whale - Remote Whale Island Cabin on the water

Our place is completely and totally isolated. The cabins are perfect for hunting, fishing, beachcombing, and kayaking. We recommend our place for couples, solo adventurers, or small group retreats. Eventually, it would make an amazing wedding venue. The cabins are not on the Kodiak mainland, but rather on a nearby island. You will have to contact me to find out information about getting from Kodiak to Whale Island.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. The home is located right next to our home. You will share a driveway with us. The street we are located on is a dead-end road with a beautiful walking trail at the end of the road that follows the coastline. *Please note that we are currently in a remodeling phase of the home with some unfinished touches.
