In our tropical garden, the beach themed guest house has all the comforts of home. Spacious, air conditioned, with kitchen, bbq, and pool side furniture. Free wifi + Netflix. Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

A private and self contained guest unit, detached from to the main house with It’s own private entrance. It also has a private undercover area directly under the guest unit. Quite secluded location with elevated 180 degree views. Caravonica is a central location to a number of attractions around the Cairns area. You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.
