Ideally situated on the heart of Lake Seminole, The Q’Whack Shack is a water enthusiasts dream hideaway. Enjoy boating, angling, an array of watersports (skiing, tubing, etc.), grade-A bass fishing and duck hunting with convenient private dock access just steps from the back door. Waterfront restaurants and other provisions just a quick boat/car ride away.

This is an entire house, minus one bedroom/bathroom that’s rented separately. It has no access inside. Two different private front doors. No shared spaces. You will have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining, living, and laundry rooms to yourself. Please be courteous & respectful of noise at front door and living room. Whether you're in town for an event or looking for a getaway, you'll feel cozy, comfortable, and right at home in this historic cottage. Built in 1916, the home offers historic charm and modern amenities. With more than 1,600 sq. ft. and three bedrooms, there's room for the whole family! There's a huge fenced-in yard and Macintyre Park is just half a block away. The front porch and back deck offer serenity under the pines. Or take a 3 minute drive to experience all that downtown has to offer.

Close to everything, a million miles away....... Down the two-track driveway, past the view of the nearest neighbors, our new custom cabin awaits. Rest easy on the screened porch, with its view of the two-acre lake or cross the adjacent foot bridge to the island. Fish for bass and bream, stroll the walking path, paddle around and enjoy the wildlife, or just relax far from the madding crowd. This slice of paradise sits on 12 acres; our home is across the lake, out of sight and out of mind.

Cozy Cottage in the Pines

Enjoy a quiet stay just outside of town on a farm! Listen to the breeze whisper through the pines and relax in this peaceful country setting. The cottage is 2 miles north of Cottonwood and is just under 10 miles to The Ross Clark Circle in Dothan. Dothan has a lot to do…..shopping, dining, and entertainment. Also, the cottage is only a few miles from the Florida line and the Georgia line if you’re going there for something fun! WiFi is fast so working from the cottage is easy as well!

The space includes 3 fully furnished bedrooms, coffees and teas. We also provide everything you need to cook and serve a meal. Access to washer and dryer. We are local and available if needed!

Claire’s Cottage with privacy gate

Everything you need in a quaint, modern space located on 7 secluded acres with a privacy gate only minutes from the Ross Clark Circle and downtown, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with YouTube TV subscription included (over 70 channels), brand new fridge, spacious rooms. Washer and dryer available. We allow pets on a case by case basis and charge a one time $10 fee per pet upon guests arrival. We also offer EV level 2 charging (40 amp) for a flat $10 fee.

Goat House Farm is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational farm. All profits go toward supporting the mission of the farm. Come and de-stress by snuggling our goats. These bouncing bundles of joy are guaranteed to make you smile! We are near Tallahassee but in a rural area, down a bumpy dirt road, but we promise the trip is worth it. Kayaking and hiking right off the property, plus beautiful sunsets on the lake.
