Schitt’s Cabin

Experience the novelty and delight of rural living in a charming log cabin on a hill in the forest. Nicknamed “Schitt’s Cabin” because of the charm and Schitt’s Creek references, “The Cabin” is your favorite cabin away from home. As in Episode 5, Season 1 of Schitt’s Creek, you’ll be surprised in more ways than one by our charm and you’ll have the entire place to yourself— inside and out! The cabin is nestled on 6 acres of forests and sits remote atop a hill. Cell phone signal here is spotty.

Barn stay @ Goose Creek Chalet

This unique barn/log cabin was constructed by a creative craftsman Tom Kirkman. This home has been published in a book " From White House to Amish." The property has two separate lofts. The south loft has a master bedroom with French doors leading to a soaker tub and shower. The north side loft has two bedrooms with queen size beds and one bedroom with two full size beds. The main floor has 30' cathedral ceilings, freestanding fireplace suspended on chains, 16' dining table, custom kitchen.

Come to beautiful southern Indiana and stay in our rustic cabin with all the comforts of home. Overlooks White River, close to Bedford, Bloomington, near Spring Mill Park & Bluespring Caverns. There is hiking nearby at Hoosier NF and Milwaukee Trail. Great home base if you are going to IU football game, French Lick or just want to get away for a relaxing weekend. Lots of golfing near by. Limestone bluff overlooks the White River 125 ft. below cabin porch. There is a patio plus a fire pit.

Close to many shops, restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores. 10 miles to Lake Monroe, 21 miles to Bloomington (28 to IU), 21 miles to Oliver Winery, 29 miles to French Lick and West Baden Resorts/French Lick Casino.

Guthrie Meadows Green Door Glamping Cabin

The cabin sits on 100 acres. Electric heat and air conditioning for your comfort. Cabins do not have running water, but do have a dry sink and Mini FRIDGE. Each cabin has a privy nearby, firepit and firewood. We also now have a shower house with 2 bathrooms and 2 toilet. Picnic table just outside the front door. Hike our trails or play in the creeks. You supply your own soap, shampoo etc. blankets, towels, sleeping bags, pillows etc. I supply a fitted sheet for each bed.

As you drive up a long driveway just out of Bedford City limits you are greeted by beautiful mature trees and landscaping along with horses, dogs, cats, and goats to welcome you to your home away from home. Step inside the homes attached garage to take your path up the staircase to your private one bedroom, one bathroom loft apartment above the garage. An additional bathroom is on the main level inside the garage for use as well. Enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway.
