We are a 15 minute drive or a short bus ride into Brighton town centre with the added bonus of a beautiful and quiet location to return home to. Directly on the East Sussex coastal path with the nearest beach access only 5 minutes walk, also a short stroll into the beautiful South Downs National Park.

There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

“Little Hawthorn Cottage” in Laughton, East Sussex has been lovingly transformed into habitable accommodation. It beautifully retains the charm and elegance of the surroundings while offering modern amenities to our guests. Located 5 miles from Lewes, quietly sitting in the grounds of our 120 year old cottage and within curtilage of the impressive and historic Laughton Place tower. Little Hawthorn is situated 1 mile from the nearest main road, with access via an unmade, rustic farm track.

Skylark is ideal for visiting one of the many attractions near by (including Charleston House, Rathfinny Wine Estate, Firle Place and the medieval village of Alfriston), a stopover on the South Downs Way, a weekend of walking or just some time out to relax.

It is a very special place, handmade by the owners and full of artistic charms which provide an idyllic setting for a weekend escape or simply to immerse yourself in nature and have time to hear the dawn chorus and the owls.

Bull Cottage, Sheffield Park

A beautiful, 16th century cottage in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the village of Fletching in East Sussex. Very much a home from home, you can step into a little bit of history with its numerous period features including oak beams, wattle and daub walls and an inglenook fireplace. Cosy in winter and cool in the summer months, it is a great place to unwind and get away from it all, whilst also being on the doorstep of many local walks, pubs and attractions.

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

It has an enclosed garden to the rear with a nautical theme as well as off road parking. It is maintained to a very high standard. Lewes has its own cinema, brewery and a castle with scenic views across Sussex and the River Ouse. Great local walks. 7 miles from Brighton. One week minimum stay in July and August.

Our cosy shepherd’s hut sits beside a fenced field where our four, new but friendly alpacas live, so you’ll have some very charming company during your stay (possibly a few sheep!). Spend your days hiking, visiting Brighton/Eastbourne, or simply relaxing on a deck chair with a glass of Prosecco. Garden Huts B&B Caburn

Garden Huts B&B offer a unique place to stay for walkers, cyclists and those exploring the local area. Located in the picturesque village of Rodmell close to the South Downs Way and the home of Virginia Woolf. Caburn huts are two huts, one bedroom hut with a comfy double bed, seating with tea and coffee making facilities. The second is a bathroom hut with a gorgeous roll top bath. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.
