Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

We live on site in the section with the tower itself. Cosy camping pod located on the shore of Loch Awe, with stunning mountain views. A total of 6 dog friendly pods are located adjacent to lochawe in the village of Dalavich. Pod 2 has 2 single beds. The village has a shop, licensed cafe, bar & restaurant (seasonal opening), kids play area and bike hire. Guests should bring everything as if they were camping except the tent, microwave, fridge and kettle, there are communal public toilets with hot water and an outside tap for drinking water.

Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
