Charming Rural Cottage, New Forest National Park

Oak Tree Cottage is nestled on the edge of the village of Pilley, near the coastal town of Lymington. With forest tracks on the doorstep, it is ideally situated for exploring the countryside of the New Forest National Park and villages along the South coast. The local ponies and donkeys are frequent visitors to our lane, as they roam freely in the immediate area. The cottage is tastefully furnished and well equipped, with ample parking, and barbecue provided for the summer. Wifi speed 150 mbps.

Our cottage is steps away from the quayside in the old harbour. It is quiet in the walled garden, but all around are shops, cafés and restaurants. The high street is two minutes walk away but ten minutes' walk takes you past the seawater baths and out on the salt marshes to the sea. You can hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight in 15 minutes. Lymington is a grand town and our cottage is beautifully placed for exploring it!

Situated an 8 minute walk from the railway station, there are great walks, cycling (with hire available in the village) and horse riding near by.
