Route 66 Railroad Shanty, a cozy artsy small space

This 536 s.f. house, believed to have once been a sleeping shanty for railroad crews switching shifts for the night. Fully renovated and updated in 2021 by a local artist, you will find custom metal art throughout, granite countertops and a very warm cabin feel featuring a kitchen and bathroom finished with locally sourced Missouri dark red cedar, 10 minutes from six flags, Purina farms 15 min from hidden valley and 45 min from downtown this place is in a great location and will not disappoint!

2 bedroom cabin with queen size beds, full kitchen & bathroom, private hot tub & shared pool (pool is shared between 3 cabins). Price of $130 per night is based on up to 2 people; additional people ages 8 & older $25 extra per person per night. *Hot tub & Pool:we reserve the right to close the hot tub or pool for any mechanical issues that may occur and that is beyond our control. Any type of parties must be pre-approved. We now offer 5 mile float trips! **float trip is additional cost.

Close to La Chance winery, Desoto town, Big River access points, valley view glades, & Washington state park.

This one bedroom newly updated house is the perfect location for discovering all that "The Hill" has to offer. Within walking distance to some of the finest restaurants in all of STL. ( Zia's being our personal favorite) Enjoy a great meal and walk to one of the many well known bakeries, Italian markets, Shops, Coffee Bistro, Gelato and Bars. What more could you ask for? Only a short drive to downtown to see the City Museum or catch a Cardinals or Blues Game.
