Our spacious and unique log cabin on the coast is perfect for families, friends traveling together, a couples getaway, or a single person's landing pad. The home is a two story true log cabin with 2 king beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and all of the amenities of a great stay with the classic details of a log home. We have seating for the family around the table, excellent Wi-Fi, a great fire ring out front, and so much more. We're only a few blocks from the beach and right off the Davis bayou!

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
