This wonderful Studio House has the benefit of a refreshing unheated private swimming pool (08.00 - 20.30hours) The detached stone built Studio House sits in its own large garden with outdoor seating & hammock. Inside the space comprises a large open plan room with wood burner & cast iron roll top bath. A king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets (+double bed airbed if required). Oak Cottage - an inclusive peaceful haven

A very central yet peaceful apartment offering gracious rooms. Although this is part of our home, when guests come they have exclusive use of these rooms originally set apart as my mother’s annex. The large lounge has comfortable furniture and opens to a small kitchen with room to dine. The two bedrooms have bathrooms - upstairs bedroom has limited headroom and the bathroom is separated by a curtain. Sunroom opens to a shared pool May to Sept and has two sofa beds. Set along a small country lane 1,000 feet above sea level, the cottage has breathtaking views and makes a wonderful base for spotting buzzards and red kites. Climbers, walkers and mountain bikers will have plenty to explore. There are numerous walks from the cottage, with the summit of Sugar Loaf offering panoramic views over the Cotswolds, the Brecon Beacons and the Bristol Channel. The thriving town of Abergavenny (4 miles) has a fantastic range of great pubs, restaurants, and cafes.

We are 3.2 miles from the wonderful market town of Abergavenny, gateway to the Beacons National Park. We have amazing views of Skirrid Mountain and countryside. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

Original Showman’s Waggon near Offas Dyke

A beautiful and original 1900’s Showman’s Waggon in the heart of a traditional welsh farmstead close to the Offas Dyke footpath. This Waggon has been sympathetically restored retaining many period featured including a magnificently painted ceiling. It is completely off grid without compromising on comfort or facilities.
