Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. Its situated to the rear of a private home and only 10 mins walk from Ranelagh and 15 mins from Ballsbridge. Peaceful and charming you wont want to leave…. Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.

Feel free to interact with our farm animals( horse , alpaca, sheep , goats) A direct bus to the city center is just 350m away. Not suitable for infants or the infirm.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
