River’s End Retreat

For couples wanting a romantic escape. Relax and unwind in this bespoke Tiny House overlooking the Kalgan River. Located on 30ac we are a small working farm. Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

Our property has been lovingly, restored, with a difference. We have one bedroom located off the front verandah and one bedroom accessible from the back entry and two bedrooms within the home, great for two families, giving people their own space. Surrounded by 74 acres, only 5 minutes from Albany CBD. There is a large farmhouse kitchen, beautifully furnished areas. On balmy nights you can huddle around a cosy fire pit under the stars roasting marshmallows and relaxing with a glass of wine

Our 125 acre property backs onto the Porongurup Range, with views from the cottages, The Granite Skywalk is a short drive from the property. Views are spectacular from the top, south to Albany and North to The Sterling Ranges. This chalet is named after the original Wolfes Landing - now the Albany jetty – which was the embarkation point for soldiers heading to Gallipoli. Timbers rescued from this jetty are the signature feature of this chalet, and are a poignant and constant reminder of those who have gone before us.
