Great hiking and biking trails outside our door. 10 minutes to Taos ski valley. 20 minutes to Taos plaza. Must be comfortable heating with wood stove, off grid water system, and sharing a bath house. AWD/4WD may be necessary if it snows.

We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

Latir Hike-in 20-foot Camping Yurt

PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 0.7-mile hike (or bike) to the Latir Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat, there is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. We provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.

The Mushroom Yurt

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a propane bbq grill, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.

Comanche Teepee at Nomad Landing

Adventure awaits you in this native rustic getaway. Teepee glampers also have access to the small RV nearby for the bathroom and kitchen. No pets allowed. Guests may access any part of our 20 acres. We have many amenities and entertainment onsite including grills, firepits, hammocks, horseshoes, corn hole and much more! We also have RV hookups and parking on the same property for $50 dollars (full hookup) or $30 (parking only).
