Blake's Barn, Mattingley Farm

Blake's Barn is named after the Victorian farmer who built it. The stone barn was sympathetically converted in 1993, maintaining the beautiful original features while bringing it up to modern standards. The mezzanine master bedroom overlooks the open plan living area with the vaulted roof providing a unique airy space. A log burner completes the picture. Large sliding doors lead into the private walled garden with a covered dining area. Blake's Barn has been welcoming guests for over since 1993

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). However not too far from local amenities and the town of Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. 200 yards from bus stop and local pub within 20 mins walk. Prospective guests should note that the cottage is accessed by 2 steps to the front door and the same applies to accessing the rear garden. Once inside there are no further steps.
