If you prefer, Savannah now offers Uber, and there are always plenty of taxis and pedicabs available as well! If you choose to bring your own vehicle, please note that the street parking is typically readily available, but please be mindful of the areas that have meters and the posted sweep zone times! The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.
