This beautiful barn apartment is located on Bayou Sarah Farms, Louisiana’s first and only water buffalo dairy. If you're looking to get away from hustle of the city, this is the stay for you! The space is surrounded by windows so guests can enjoy views of water buffalo grazing on rolling pastures beneath century old live oak trees. There is also a nice balcony to enjoy the views. Small kitchen with the basics. We also have a friendly farm dog, tiny pony, and cats- no animals are allowed indoors.

Our cabin is the perfect getaway to enjoy nature, coffee on the front porch or a cocktail on the upstairs deck, a ride in the woods or a swim in the freshwater creeks. It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with 2 queen sized beds, 1 full bathroom, & has 24 hr security cameras—3 minutes away from Juban Crossing Shopping Center and the interstate. 30+ restaurants & stores nearby (including Texas Roadhouse, Movie Tavern, Starbucks, and many more). Both LSU stadium and downtown are only 25 minutes away; New Orleans in an hour away! (The home beside is also available, the second next door but must be booked separately. Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.

Secluded cabin in the woods-Tinmann Retreat

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
