Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Must be ok with steps, lots of steps! Located in downtown Lehighton Pa. A few minutes to historic downtown Jim Thorpe and the D&L trail for hiking, biking, rafting, wining, dining and more! Also 20 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. We have a designated parking lot if street parking isn’t available. Never a parking concern. Walking distance to Insurrection distillery, Bonnie & Clyde’s restaurant as well as many local shops.

Creekside Cabin

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

Beautiful, newly remodeled 2 BR cottage on the water between pond & creek. The Shanty is a one room 200 sq.ft. cottage for a weekend get-away, a short to long-term work assignment or the perfect spot for creative work like composing or writing. It is three miles from access to the Appalachian Trail and is an ideal respite for thru hikers. It is a quiet, sunny room just a few steps from a private bathroom in the main house. Views to the west and north of the Blue Mountain. Continental style breakfast is included. Weekly and monthly discounts are offered.

If you like the outdoors, shopping, wineries distilleries, breweries or just plain relaxing in the country, this is the place for you. We are a short driving distance to all local restaurants, hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and shops. Access to the pool and a private patio are included in the price of the rental.

A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
