The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Relax with family, friends, or enjoy a solo retreat at this peaceful place to stay in the country. Chestnut House was built in the early 1940s, with Wormy Chestnut wood everywhere! It is a unique home, with an apartment built over a garage / wood working shop.. then connected to the main house later. This space available to rent is separate and fully functional from the main house where we live. Enjoy 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living area.. along with the large outdoors!

The Hay Loft guesthouse above Barn

Located in the far corner of Montgomery county, near Berks, Lehigh, and bucks county you will find our converted hayloft guesthouse above our barn and farm store. From the guesthouse you have beautiful views of the pastures which keep our cows, horses, and sheep as well as views of the tallest point in Montgomery county - “Mill Hill”. This romantic getaway offers a history all its own. Welcome to our fully renovated and restored circa 1829 barn 2nd floor guest suite. Within walking/biking distance to Historic Newtown Borough and all of its unique boutique shops and restaurants. This cozy space offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed, efficiency kitchen, open floor plan living room, dedicated workspace and outdoor deck. Close to I-95 as well as the charming towns of New Hope, Lambertville, Doylestown and Princeton.

Historic Amish homestead Barn loft apartment

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.
