The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd & our downtown village are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the village for more dining, shopping, and excursions. From late June to mid Oct, the free Island Explorer shuttle is an easy option.

Red Oak is nestled at the top of our Bar Harbor bed and breakfast, and features its own private “tree house” deck. This 3 bedroom apartment occupies the second floor of the Freedom House Bed & Breakfast main house. Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed, and one has a king size bed.
